[SOLVED] Persistant block device: LUKS and UUID

I read up the wiki on the above. Can I get a little clarification on whether or not /etc/fstab should have the UUID of the device (sdxx - crypto_LUKS) or the UUID of the shown mount (/mnt/somemount)

fstab needs to mount the device, and you only mount unencrypted devices.

By the time fstab sees them, they have already been decrypted, either by your initramfs via the "encrypt" hook, or via your /etc/crypttab

Re: [SOLVED] Persistant block device: LUKS and UUID

Ahhh understood. Now that makes sense to me since I do use /etc/crypttab.
