Cant use mkinitcpio to generate a themed initramfs?

Can I generate a themed (gensplash) initramfs using mkinitcpio?

And does mkinitcpio only work for ArchLinux?

The gensplashutils package has support for mkinitcpio. Just try the latest version.

It could work on other distros, but I don't think anyone would use it - even though it is the best initramfs creation tool out there.

How do I define the wanted theme in the mkinitcpio.con file? Just like I do in mkinitramfs.conf?

Or someone should update the gensplash entry in the wiki. smile
