[SOLVED] I cannot suspend laptop twice

Well, I'm having issues to suspend/sleep this laptop twice. I mean, when I switch on the laptop (from power off state) It does work as usual, I can suspend and resume, but after a first suspend/resume proccess I cannot suspend the laptop anymore. When I try to suspend the laptop a second time (in the same session); inmediately it does resume.

So I have to turn off the laptop, turn on again and in a new session I can suspend the laptop again once before getting the same behaviour.

This is the journalctl output in this instantaneous sleep/resume process

It is a sleep process so I guess swap is not needed, in any case ... it is empty, so it should not be the problem.

Bests,

Re: [SOLVED] I cannot suspend laptop twice

Suspend_and_hibernate#Instantaneous_wakeups_from_suspend  Can you identify which device is causing the wakeup?

Re: [SOLVED] I cannot suspend laptop twice

Yes, I did it, the issue seems to be solved just by disable those devices, now is working properly (despite off those devices are enabled again), maybe the behaviour returns after plug some usb device.

I'm not sure the issue be caused by the same, but it is related with acpi, for sure.

Thank you for the info, and sorry, but I couldn't imagine there would be the solution in the wiki.

Now I'm having issues with numlock, my laptop has got the numpad embedded in the keyboard (I can enable it with fn key), and ... usually when I wake up the laptop I need to enable the numpad to type the password, cause in other way those keys wont work at all (no number, no symbol, no letter, anything).

Anyway ... I can mark this as solved by now. Really I just wanted to check why the laptop was waking up.
