I recently replaced my old Notebook (T61) with a newer one (T540p) and installed Arch again from scratch following the wiki guides. I only kept my /home and still use this.
If I try to connect to my HTPC (ubuntu 18.04 with KODI) with KRDC using VNC it is very slow and laggy now. When I move the mouse it takes up to 5 seconds until it reaches the final position. On the old machine this takes less than 1 second. I didn't change anything on the ubuntu machine since then. It's running X11vnc.
Of course this will never be good enough to watch a movie, but I only used it for maintenance and for this it was always quite sufficient.
Has anything changed in the most recent version of KRDC or VNC? What could I try to solve this?
