[Mostly Solved] Pulseaudio Audio output device selection

Update: It turns out I can separately (un-)mute both jacks independently using alsamixer. I don't get the internal speaker to play when docked but I'm not sure if my hardware even allows this.

Dear lovely Arch community,

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X230 with a docking station and I would like to be able to choose between all three audio outputs, namely internal speaker, laptop audio jack and docking station audio jack in pulseaudio.

Currently pactl list short sinks will list only one sink although both jacks are plugged: alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-stereo. pavucontrol lists headphones (plugged in) and speakers (unavailable), which I won't be able to select.

The output is dock jack if available otherwise laptop jack if available otherwise internal speakers.

I have the dock permanently connected to my stereo and now I have to un-dock when I want to use headphones or the internal speakers (because of being too lazy to turn on the stereo).
