Steam isn't working

I installed Steam and it isn't working. It lets me login, but then it doesn't show anything. Here's the output I'm getting when I'm running it in a terminal:

If your runtime is borked have you tried to reset it?  Go to the Wiki and on the Steam page there are instructions.  Be ware that resetting Steam deletes all installed game files.  You will have to redownload your content.

Edit: Also if you intend to game on your Arch system then install the steam native runtime.  Installing that group fixes so many gaming issues on Arch.  GOG games especially just almost always work where they might not have before.

Ok, so I've done a couple of things:

I ran steam in native mode and installed all the missing libraries i could find in the repositories and AUR. It didn't help much, now it was complaining that it can't run module "vgui2_s.so"

Then I used the --reset option on steam, and now it's not showing anything about missing libraries, but it still doesn't run

And I've installed steam-native-runtime, as headkase suggested, but I don't know if it helps, it still doesn't do anything.

Also, i have generated my locale, as V1el said, but when i type "locale -a" it says:

locale: Cannot set LC_COLLATE to default locale: No such file or directory

POSIX
en_US.utf8

So, i kinda ran out of options here. What else can I do?

And I've installed steam-native-runtime, as headkase suggested, but I don't know if it helps, it still doesn't do anything.

The Steam native runtime is most useful for GOG native Linux games.  If you have the runtime installed then those GOG games tend to find the libraries they're looking for.  Which means that more of them just work "out of the box".  The dependencies for GOG games aren't tracked in Arch and the native runtime just provides most of the depenedencies you might run into.  That makes games work with less fuss.
