[SOLVED] Sway notifications software

Hi there !

I am trying to move from i3 to sway (version 0.15.2, the one from the community repo), but I have some troubles with the notification server.
I used xfce4-notifyd, which worked perfectly with i3, but with sway every notification opens a whole window and stretches its content, making it a real abomination.

That's why I tried to install other "notification servers". I tried mako but it gives me the following error :

compositor doesn't support zwlr_layer_shell_v1

I don't understand what that means, so even though it is not specially indicated for wayland, I tried twmn, but this one simply doesn't display anything at all.

Just like the wiki indicates it, the content of /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.freedesktop.Notifications.service is

[D-BUS Service]
Name=org.freedesktop.Notifications
Exec=/usr/lib/notification-daemon-1.0/notification-daemon

Do you have any idea of what I could do to make mako or twmn work ?

Thanks in advance !

Re: [SOLVED] Sway notifications software

you need sway-git or at least the 1.0 beta for layer shell support
