Hello everyone,
On my laptop i've installed an integrated Intel GPU and an AMD GPU.
I'va activated PRIME as described in the arch wiki.
And PRIME seems work fine.
But if I launch a program with the AMD GPU (on terminal $ DRI_PRIME=1 command ) sometimes the window is white (other times it works perfectly).
Running radeontop I've noticed that when the window is white radeontop show Graphics Pipe at 100%
When the issue appears Graphics Pipe is at 100% as soon as I log in in GNOME and run radeontop
This is RadeonTop

And this is an example of what I see (in this case Google Earth)
http://i63.tinypic.com/2qu3fwo.png
I'm using open source drivers xf86-video-amdgpu
Temperature sensor always shows 511°C, which obviously isn't the real temperature (I don't know if it could be useful)
On the other side yesterday evening I've played Civilization VI with the AMD GPU for more than two hour without any problem
Thanks for your help

post output of
$ DRI_PRIME=1 glxinfo -B
Did you run Civ VI full screen ?

Yes, Civ was running fullscreen
I've also noticed (but I'm not sure it is not a coincidence) that if AC charger is plugged in at boot the graphics pipe goes to 100%, if not (so if the system boot with battery only) AMD graphics works fine.
And put in charge after start up doesn't create any problem

glxinfo output looks as expected.
Not sure whether this is compositor-related or power management.
- boot with AC charger plugged in
- run Civ fullscreen for a while
- do amd graphics work as intended ?
- does radeontop output change while/after civ runs fullscreen ?

Nothing
Civ start full-white, and radeontop is all 100% except for VRAM and GTT which seem to work correctly
After kill Civ nothing change except, again, for VRAM and GTT that return near 0

So probably related to power management.
please post 2 dmesg logs :
- from a boot with ac Charger plugged in
- a boot without ac plugged in at start, after you have logged'in plugin the AC charger and take the log.

While it may not be related to the graphics problem, MCE errors occur at low level and should be taken serious.
