Odd problem with qmpd
I have mpd installed on my laptop and it is a configured as a satellite proxy for my main mpd install on my server in my basement. So, to use an mpd client, I just need to configure it to connect to localhost on port 6600.
The following mpd clients are working flawlessly for me:
mpc
gmpc
cantata
pympd
The client qmpd refuses to work. It keeps timing out and is unable to connect. I tried localhost with port 6600 and 127.0.0.1 with port 6600. Neither one will work. I also tried using the IP address my wireless connection has, and it still won't connect.
MPD Version: Music Player Daemon 0.21.3
Anyone else seen anything like this?

Shouldn't this be reported upstream? Though I doubt you will receive an answer, the project seems to be dead for years

I'm planning to report it upstream. But I just wanted to see if any other users are experiencing this issue before I did.
