Black screen and unresponsive system after boot

Hello

I have this problem since two weeks. Every morning, when i power on the computer i get a black screen and unresponsive system (there is no grub screen). No shortcut works: ctrl alt supr, alt sysrq r, ctrl alt f4-f9-f1, etc, so, i have to shutdown via the power button. First it was only a black screen for day, now i have to shutdown four times until my pc boots properly. There is no logs from these previous boots in journal. I downgraded the lts kernel, change kernels (zen, arch, lts) but nothing works.I did an fsck to my hard drive and it gave no errors.

Kernel: 4.20.0-arch1-1-ARCH

GPU: AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225/4250

Re: Black screen and unresponsive system after boot

Hi, not much help here but the same problem.
I have been started xfce4 from the command line as Lightdm and most other DM are doing the same with kernel 4.20 and now 4.14 since yesterday.
Tried a fresh install on another drive yesterday with GDM and it works as expected.
Command line works as expected and a temp work around for now.
