Wine text box issues

This does not appear to be the standard problem with wine fonts in which there are none installed. I'm trying to get off VirtualBox and the last program I need is called OccuBrowse, which I need for my job. For 99% of the program, text is fine. Fonts are installed, and working properly. However, there is a part of the program is displays text in something of a text box, and it is here that there is a some unique issue I cannot find on google.

The text displays as if it was supposed to be black on black, and the tabs in the text appear as a white space. If I highlight it, the white space turns black, and the text goes white on white. The rest of the background without text is white as expected. The program also defaults to highlighting certain keywords. For example, if I search the keyword "nut", I can select the job "nut sorter". It then regurgitates the job description into the text box which I cannot read. But because I searched for "nut" all instances of "nut" in the text box are readable with blue formatting (as they're supposed to) but on a green background (which it's not supposed to, it's supposed to be white like the rest of the text). Also, text that is supposed to be bold does appear bolded, and readable, but on a yellow background (which it's not supposed to, again, supposed to be all white back ground).

I can copy and paste this text into LibreOffice and it posts with the same faulty formatting in the program but with the added issue of being very squished. Pasting it without formatting works fine. And generating a print preview of this text in the program works as expected. I'm at a loss on how to fix this, and can't figure out what the problem might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
