Hi,
I'm trying to set up a fresh install of archlinux using the latest ISO flashed to USB via Rufus in dd mode. However I am getting a freeze during boot after the "Started Entropy Harvesting Daemon" line. I thought this might be related to my Nvidia GTX 980 TI graphics card and so I tried adding "nomodeset i915.modeset=0 nouveau.modeset=0" to the kernel params based on advice here but I'm still getting the same problem. My hardware info is below, if there's anything else I can provide to help please let me know.
Hardware:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k
GPU: Nvidia GTX 980 TI

Do you get more telling messages if you add loglevel=7 to these params?

I found out some more info the issue seems to only occur with 4.19 and onwards kernels. I was able to boot into the 11/18 ISO with a 4.18.16 kernel just fine. I ran with "debug loglevel=7" in the kernel params and couldn't see anything super obviously wrong. I wasn't sure how to dump the boot log from the live usb so I've posted a video below (apologies for the poor quality).

Fixed it! For anyone with the same issue I was able to solve this by setting iommu=pt in the kernel params (don't think it's supported by my mobo). I'll mark as solved.
