How to open a DXR file on Arch?

In my teaching library, I have stumbled across an old (2012ish) CD-ROM that contains .dxr files. According to https://datatypes.net, .dxr files are video files of the software Adobe Director (formerly Macromedia Director). Is there any way I can watch these files on Arch Linux?

In a VM running an ancient version of Windows and Adobe Director?

Adobe is antithetical to open standards.

No there is no way to watch a .dxr file on Arch, but why don't you convert the file to a more common video output?
Just need to find one that does that native on Linux or works in Wine.
