Hello guys,
While typing anything in the console I am getting extra spaces at the start also I am unable to remove those spaces. Although I am able to navigate between words but its still not perfect. Also in the Application launcher while typing I am getting nothing.
I am new to the community, please tell me what information is needed to debug this.
Thanks

First, get rid of the large images - replace them with links if they are relevant. Next, is the second image relevant? Did you post the wrong image file? What could that have to do with this issue?
Now, the actual issue is most likely due to non-escaped non-printing characters in your PS1. Please post the output of the following:
echo $PS1
echo $TERM"UNIX is simple and coherent" - Dennis Ritchie; "GNU's Not Unix" - Richard Stallman

Okay, after a system upgrade the text is fine in the terminal but the problem still persists for the search in the dashboard/Application Launcher.

@Trilby, Yeah the second image is relevant as it showed no characters even when I've typed `firefox` in the search parameter.
$ echo $PS1
[\u@\h \W]\$
$ echo $TERM

Ok, then please modify the title of this thread if you want this to be about the application launcher as that is a completely different issue.
Which application launcher is that? How have you configured it? Are you sure your font color is not just matching the background color? Does it work if you "blindly" type something in to that launcher?
