Hi everyone.
I had my whole home folder mounted on my ntfs hard drive I was using ntfs-3g but that is really slow... So today I re configured it so only the media folders such as photos and music were on the ntfs 3g partition. I moved all my config folders (.config, .local .bashrc, etc) to my ext4 ssd in /home/connor where my whole ntfs-3g mount point was previously. I didn't get any errors that I saw during boot about any of the new mount points being wrong. I will then be greeted to my SDDM screen with my background and profile picture like normal, but once I put in my password it will launch to a black screen where I can still move the mouse around, instead of my plasma desktop.
I was wondering if anyone could think why this could be?
Here is my fstab file if anyone wants to analyse it. To be clear "Home" on the ntfs partition is supposed to capitalized, my folders like "Pictures" on the ntfs folder are also capitalized and I think KDE respected that but I will try changing the folder names to lower case for the mount to point tomorrow and edit this post.

Problem solved, turns out my home folder "connor" on my ssd was owned by root, giving myself ownership of the folder fixed this. Thanks for reading this mess haha...
