[SOLVED] compton error: glx_render(): Missing texture.

Hello all,

Just reinstalled Arch on my desktop and after installing i3wm and compton I ran compton in the terminal to see if everything worked and it fails to render the background wallpaper and the terminal just outputs:

glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.
glx_render(): Missing texture.

it does this continuously using the default config.

Tried looking online and couldn't find many or any answers at all. Any know what's going on?

Never mind! Fixed the issue, found out it only happened once a wallpaper was set (I was setting it using wal) after installing feh, compton didn't spew out any errors.
