Android tethering not working during arch installation

I just received my computer parts and folded a computer, I don't have wi-fi card yet, so I tried to install arch with Android USB tethering, I connected my phone (with wi-fi enabled) to the computer (on front panel of the pc), enabled tethering and found that there is a new entry in 'ip link': ""'
3: enp1s0f0u8: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
        link/ether 1e:3e:b4:43:b8:4e brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
"""
so I typed 'ip link set enp1s0f0u8' (no output), and 'ping 8.8.8.8', it returned "connect: Network is unreachable". Please help me, I don't want to wait for wi-fi card for 4 days.

Re: Android tethering not working during arch installation

I am not sure but you're trying to connect by usb and not with ethernet which is the interface you're referring. I suggest you (i did the same, installing with andorid hotspot, but wifi hotspot) to use the wifi card.
Check here for configuration

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … uration#iw

After activationg and linking to hotspot i had to run

 dhcpcd <interface>
