T480s - Crucial DDR4 memory stick gets hot while suspended.

I recently bought an new T480s (20L8S02E00-FL) with an crucial (CT16G4SFD824A.C16FHD) 16GB RAM upgrade.
I charged it up to 100%, unplugged it for the first night and when I woke up the next morning the battery had drained to 0%...
After a bit research I figured out, that it seams like the Ram is under full power during suspend mode. It is getting quite hot and loosing around 6% charge every hour.
I now changed the Memory to the default 8GB Lenovo chip, which fixed my problem.
The official crucial Supported Memory (26.1.19) page says: CT16G4SFD824A is supported for the T480s.

My System:
uname -r:

4.20.3-arch1-1-ARCH

dmidecode -t bios

# dmidecode 3.2
Getting SMBIOS data from sysfs.
SMBIOS 3.0.0 present.

Sleep states? S3 vs S0i3?

Check your BIOS and see if there's an option for "Linux"under sleep settings.

For the x1 carbon it's under ~Config -> Power -> Sleep State - Set to “Linux”~ not sure about the t480s.

Re: T480s - Crucial DDR4 memory stick gets hot while suspended.

At first I thought this would be the case but turns out there is no S0i3 Sleepmode on the T480s. So no Bios entry.
On Reddit they suspected:

I know the T480 and T480s support S3 but I do not think they support S0i3 because part of the Microsoft requirement for Modern Standby is soldered RAM and the T480/T480s have the option for socketed RAM. Maybe if there is no socketed RAM present Windows can use S0i3? I don't know but could be possible I guess.

dmesg | grep -i "acpi: (supports"

[ 1.080962] ACPI: (supports S0 S3 S4 S5)
