Hello and welcome to my first post in a forum ever, brace yourself for bad spelling and so on.
With that disclaimer out of the way, some background: I recently switched from Windows 10 to Arch and am not regretting it since (except for some games, which is OK, and the problem I am here about). My PC should be powerful enough to handle most I throw at it (i7, 32GB RAM, SSDs, GTX1080).
Now to the problem at hand: I wanted to programm some C#, .NET Core stuff to be exact, and installing the dotnet-sdk worked (via pacman) and i also installed the aspnet-runtime for good measure. using it from the command line is working. however I noticed VS Code, Rider and MonoDevelop not recognizing it correctly. Code won't debug, just build, Rider and MonoDevelop flat out refuse to see it as installed.
What I tried:
- reinstalling dotnet
- pointing MonoDevelop and Rider to the executable, that is present in /usr/bin (dotnet)
Some infos:

Well nevermind my stupidity: it is solved by pointing it to the dotnet executable in /opt/dotnet
