[SOLVED] systemd wont start clipmenud (dmenu clipboard manager)

I was happy to discover clipman and clipnotify, two small programs that use dmenu to select from copy/paste history, unfortunately, the documentation is nonexistant, and I have the following problem:

Starting the daemon manually works:

clipmenud & disown

But it doesn't work to start it through systemd

sudo systemctl start clipmenud
Failed to start clipmenud.service: Unit clipmenud.service not found.

The clipmenu package installes:

clipmenu /usr/
clipmenu /usr/bin/
clipmenu /usr/bin/clipdel
clipmenu /usr/bin/clipmenu
clipmenu /usr/bin/clipmenud
clipmenu /usr/lib/
clipmenu /usr/lib/systemd/
clipmenu /usr/lib/systemd/user/
clipmenu /usr/lib/systemd/user/clipmenud.service
clipmenu /usr/share/
clipmenu /usr/share/licenses/
clipmenu /usr/share/licenses/clipmenu/
clipmenu /usr/share/licenses/clipmenu/LICENSE

For completeness, here's the content of the clipmenud.service file:

[Unit]
Description=Clipmenu daemon

[Service]
ExecStart=/usr/bin/clipmenud
Restart=always
RestartSec=0
Environment=DISPLAY=:0

MemoryDenyWriteExecute=yes
NoNewPrivileges=yes
ProtectControlGroups=yes
ProtectKernelTunables=yes
RestrictAddressFamilies=
RestrictRealtime=yes

[Install]
WantedBy=default.target

Any pointers on why systemd doesn't see the clipmenud.service file?
Also, I'm not sure how to make use of the clipnotify package...

Ah,
