SOLVED Mariadb: mysql_secure_installation

Hi everyone, I'm new as mysql user so I follow arch's wiki installation. After make mysql_install_db --user=mysql --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql to be able to start mysqld service, I put mysql_secure_installation but It returns the following error: FATAL ERROR: Could not find /usr/bin/mysql. I've checked /usr/bin/ but mysql is not, there is a lot of mysql files, including mysqld but not just mysql and I don't know how to fix it. Some help please, thanks for reading.

Re: SOLVED Mariadb: mysql_secure_installation

You did have it installed (it's a dependency of mariadb), it was just missing half its files. Any idea how that happened? If not, checking the health of your hard drive and (if safe to do so) running a filesystem check should be a priority for you.

Re: SOLVED Mariadb: mysql_secure_installation

Could be that I erased some files trying to fix and previous error, I just reinstalled mariadb-client and got everything I deleted. Thanks.
