arch linux blinking after nvidia install [solved]

Peace, i have 2 vga cards, the second which is nvidia was not working right, i could drag the mouse to the second screen but windows would not appear if i drag them, (gnome gui) so i decided to install nvidia and nvidia-lts, after rebooting, it displays sda3... the a blinking cursor and that's it. any help on this?
edit:
i pressed alt-f4 and was able to login, but gdm writes upon restarting
started gnom display manager
gdm-launch-environment : accountsservices : could not get current seat: no data available
gdm[627]: child process -645 was already dead

so i uninstalled the nvidia packages and now gnome loads again, back to the problem of intel vga not showing the windows,
xrandr --listproviders
results in 0

Install nvidia again, to fix GDM with nvidia see: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GD … rg_backend

If that isn't sufficient, post more details on your setup, is this a desktop? What's the output of

lspci -k
dmesg

(please post outputs in [ code ] tags in the future)

this is after installing nvidia again, gdm doesn't load any more obviously.

NVIDIA#Installation
See the first note about not installing drivers directly from the NVIDIA website.  Please use the nvidia-390xx packages in place of their nvidia counterparts.

thank you it worked!
however, i was mislead by the documentation to install the beta's as that was supposed to be for the 600 series while the 390xx is written as for the 400-500 series!
