Booting installation media hangs after probing EDD

Hi,

I try to boot the arch install media on a 790FX-GD70 (MS-7577) with Athlon II X4 610e.

Loading boot/x86_64/vmlinuz... ok
Loading boot/intel_ucode.img... ok
Loading boot/amd_ucode.img... ok
Loading boot/x86_64/archiso.img...

then

Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)...ok

And then it hangs (Underscore flashing at me mockingly).

Does someone have a hint on how to gather more information? Any flags for starting?

Try to enable kernel debug logging.
You can enable it by editing the kernel command line:

Press 'e' over the boot entry to enter editing mode and add the word 'debug' at the end of the command line.

Extra question, how did you create your installation media?
