[SOLVED] Tabs crash on Firefox 65

Hi, I just ran a packages update which included new Firefox version (65). Now when I try to load any page, the tab crashes. dmesg shows messages that look related:

This happens with Gnome on Wayland but not with Gnome on Xorg.

Re: [SOLVED] Tabs crash on Firefox 65

65 wayland isn't supposed to be the most stable thing ever (sadly). If you want to use FF_WL you are probably better off using nightly.

Re: [SOLVED] Tabs crash on Firefox 65

Running Firefox with GDK_BACKEND set to wayland (as mentioned here) seems to fix the issue:

$ GDK_BACKEND=wayland firefox
