[SOLVED} Surf browser and virtual memory

If I run suckless's surf browser and then look at htop, I see 85.6G and 98G multiple times under the VIRT field, all referencing /usr/lib/WebKitProcess 3 18.
I don't know much but something tells me this can't be right.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks

Re: [SOLVED} Surf browser and virtual memory

See the same. Please notice that "virtual memory" is not some occupied RAM but the addressable space.
This can happen very easy and quick and w/o even loading a single MB into RAM or burden your system in any way.

[SOLVED]
Thanks for taking the time to reply, Seth. Since as you say it doesn't seem to burden the system, I'll ignore it.
