Hello, mediainfo-gui upstream version is ugly because of GTK and it's not working properly anymore. Don't know why, I can't switch between different tabs. No issues with other GTK applications, just mediainfo-gui is unusable.
I discovered that it has a Qt version and I installed it from AUR replacing upstream one. It's more beautiful and integrates better in Plasma 5. Opening a file within the app, it works just fine and I can switch between different tabs. Unfortunately it misses desktop entry, but I already created it manually. Anyway I can't open a file from context menu (no issues opening a file within the app or from command line). When I do it, I see something like this:
This is the desktop entry:
[Desktop Entry]
Comment=Supplies technical and tag information about a video or audio file
Exec=mediainfo-gui %f
Icon=multimedia
Name=MediaInfoQt
NoDisplay=false
StartupNotify=true
Terminal=0
TerminalOptions=
Type=Application
X-KDE-SubstituteUID=false
X-KDE-Username=
I tried to change argument exec line with %u and %n (upstream version has %f) but nothing change, even if I leave it empty. What am I doing wrong?
P.s. Why not switching upstream version from GTK to Qt?
