[SOLVED] lightdm: no login greeter, X server shutdown after upgrade.

As said in the title, I have no greater after upgrade and X server shutdown.
But if I log from shell and launche startx everything is fine.

I had already tried:
1) downgrade lightdm
2) downgrade radeon driver
3) downgrade linux kernel

Nothing change.

Error during installation .... command failed "creating temporary files"
anyway package was installed anyway.

You say there was an error during installation, but the package was installed? That doesn't sound right.

You can upgrade again or check the pacman log (at /var/log/pacman.log) to see what the error was, and then post what errors pacman is giving you.

Re: [SOLVED] lightdm: no login greeter, X server shutdown after upgrade.

==> dkms install chipsec/v1.3.6.r29.g8a44162 -k 4.20.7-arch1-1-ARCH
Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 4.20.7-arch1-1-ARCH (x86_64)
Consult /var/lib/dkms/chipsec/v1.3.6.r29.g8a44162/build/make.log for more information.
...
...
(18/28) Creating temporary files...
error: command failed to execute correctly

These are the errors pacman give to me during the update.
Both of them in the post transaction hooks.

But i don't think they have anything to do with lightdm problem.

I removed the package lightdm, reinstalled it. Now everything is fine.
