Bluetooth audio glitches on shared wireless adapter

I'm bumping into the issue mentioned in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bl … l_the_time where a shared bluetooth + wifi adapter is causing audio glitches.

This only happens when both protocols are being used simultaneously, e.g. streaming an HD movie over the network, and with audio output being streamed over bluetooth to a headset. Just one or the other by themselves does not cause audio glitching or skipping.

The weird thing is that bluetooth and wifi are not sharing a frequency - bluetooth on 2.4Ghz, wifi on 5Ghz. The wireless adapter is an Intel Wireless 8260 running standard iwlwifi driver.

Are there any further steps I can take to mitigate this annoyance?
