[SOLVED] asp export not working as expected

I was following this tutorial in order to install properly  st but when I run

asp export st

I get

error: unknown package: st

I think that this behavior only occurs when the packages are from the AUR.

Correct as asp does not support AUR.  Please do not follow dated third party tutorials.
