powertop segmentation fault

hello forum,

since the last system update powertop is showing a segmentation fault ...

> sudo powertop
modprobe cpufreq_stats failed

In the system log there is following ....

It's happening on both 4.20.10 and 4.19.23 for me  (I have both the standard and LTS kernels installed)
