GTK apps don't run in KDE after installing appmenu-gtk-module

If I install this package, then some of my GTK applications will not run but as soon as I install it, they will run fine again. However, with it uninstalled, it will give me the warning in console:

Gtk-Message: 13:09:22.158: Failed to load module "appmenu-gtk-module"

Is there something I'm missing here?
