[SOLVED] Libreoffice and kde clipboard

Hi all. I am using latest libreoffice in kde DE and noticed a very annoying problem: i can copy-paste just between libreoffice documents and not from other programs to libreoffice. When i try to do that it copies the last selection i did in libreoffice document, ignoring the one coming from the other program.
I can say that it is related to kde clipboard because in mate i do no have this issue.
Any help appreciated

Just a hunch.  You might look at tools such as autocutsel

ok, seems the next update will fix that. Thank you.

I need that copy-paste works in a document writer software. What document writer do you suggest in substitution to libreoffice?

Seems to be a common issue, I experienced copy - paste problems too. I just downgraded to 6.2.0-2 and blocked upgrades for libre-office until issue is resolved.
BTW... are these things not checked prior release? .....

You can literally adjust the VCL without downgrading or switching your software: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/LibreOffice#Theme

Uncomment gtk3_kde5 to use the GTK3 VCL with KDE's file dialogs.

I've found this yesterday in wiki and applied but unfortunately did not solve the problem. I checked whether klipper was working properly, tested shortcuts with xev -event keyboard, then uncommented as V1del suggested. So, I decided to downgrade LO. I badly need copy-paste for my assignments....

It works fine here, note that after doing the change you'd have to log out and back in again to ensure that the value is properly sourced at all places.

Thank you very much V1del, problem solved. Do you suggest to comment that line again when the new libreoffice versione will be released?

That's entirely up to you and whether you'd prefer your interface to be "more properly" integrated into a QT/KDE environment because it will actually use Qt Widgets or if you stay on GTK3 and might have some differences in that regard. In general GTK3 is the "main" interface and more mature, while the Qt backend has just now been added and as seen here might need some ironing out to get to feature parity.
