[SOLVED] Black screen with flickering cursor, after recent update

Came back from a 6 day trip overseas and booted up my desktop, ran pacman -Syu to update everything and shut the system down normally before going to bed.

Turns on the next day and a flickering curosor not even grub appears.

Tried CTRL ALT F2 and CTRL ALT F3 with no luck

Can't even CTRL ALT DELETE

anyone got any ideas

Have you a Nvidia graphics card?

It worked out to be a bad cmos battery that had caused my bios to reset and enable secure boot, my bad but thanks for the help

I do happen to have a nvidea card in this system but it seems to be working fine but has had driver issues with arch in the past
