Is there a way to make the qt5 virtual keyboard appear automatically?

So I have the qt5-virtualkeyboard installed. The only place where I can actually use it, is in SDDM login. Apart from that there is no way to configure or open it apparently. I might be wrong, but I have been searching on the internet and didn't find anything.

What did you do exactly? If you put that in a terminal it will only affect applications that you launch from that terminal, you need to add it to your profile and restart the session

So I made a file in /etc/profile.d/ called qt5virtualkeyboard.sh and chmodded it. The keyboard pops up now, which is really nice. How can I make this work only in Tablet mode? And is there a way to configure they keyboard further?
