Having problems installing Arch on Xen Hypervisor

I was wondering if anyone could help.  I'm using XenCenter to setup my VM installs.  I've allocated 2 NIC cards to the Arch Linux VM and then I boot into live CD.  Once booted however ip link never shows any of the nic cards, so it's really impossible to continue into the installation process since there is no internet connection.  lshw doesnt show any of the network cards.  Is there any trick to setting this up in the hypervisor?  The wiki wasn't very helpful in this respect.
