Kingston m.2 NVMe SSD not showing on fdisk or lsblk

Hi, im trying to install arch on my lenovo legion y520 laptop. I have reserved some unallocated space for the installation on my ssd, but i can't seem to find it through the commands described on the title. dmsg only brings up a warning about the nvidia graphics card. My other drive (HDD) is actually accesible, and im certain its not a motherboard problem since its the ssd where i have my main windows install.
Am i missig drivers of some kind?

Check in your BIOS/UEFI if the nvme disk is set to RAID access and switch that to AHCI.
