Layout of my generic gamepad changed

Hello,
I play video games once in a while
I use the linux-lts driver
and my gamepad works fine with it
it detects 3 movey-sticks (I don't know what to call them)
two real sticks and one hat-thingey
now this works completely fine for the time (I see all these using jtest-gtk)
now I don't remember when this happened (probably after switching to 4.19 from 4.14) that the layout has changed.
I now shows 2 movey-sticks and 2 straight rods

The gamepad doesn't work properly now... (random movements)
I would like to switch back(If possible)
