mouse cursor problem

Arch-distributing fans in my country can not solve this problem, and I will explain this to you with Google Translate.

The problem is mouse cursor appears where not have to appear and repeat this action. for example when i watching a movie mouse cursor appears suddenly and disappears and appears again for several times. this action happens approximately every 20 seconds. i have this problem even in plasma console. mouse have to disappear in console after few seconds and not to appear until i move it but it appears automatically every 20 seconds. i tried wireless mouse and usb mouse but no difference and i uninstall my laptop touchpad driver again no difference.

the funny point is its the same in any of the platforms for example ubuntu or arch linux and when i install linux platform any of them i dont have this problem but after 1 week this problem again occurs.

OS: Arch Linux
Kernel: x86_64 Linux 5.0.0-arch1-1-ARCH
DE: KDE 5.55.0 / Plasma 5.15.2
WM: KWin
CPU: Intel Core i7-4710HQ @ 8x 3.5GHz
GPU: intel

I'm hoping for you.
Thanks

Re: mouse cursor problem

Sounds like a feature to me. Can you see if you are running Unclutter(read about what it does here)? Is there any settings do disable auto hide cursor? I don´t use KDE.

i have tested unclutter and unclutter-xfixes-git and at last i tried xbanish and i understand that my mouse does not move at all and the problem is not about that. and i haven’t seen any specific options in kde that solve my problem.

I deleted unclutter and xbanish.

Re: mouse cursor problem

The question was whether you are running any of these, if you are running any of these this behaviour can well be expected. FWIW most video players have their own implementations of this and combining that and something like unclutter will fight over control of the pointer and lead to similar issues like you are describing. If you have them running, stop/kill them and see if you can reproduce.

These packages were not installed, but I installed it to test my problem and remove it again
