I recently bought a new (new to me) laptop, after installing arch, I immediately changed my /etc/systemd/logind.conf so I could try to save at least a little power
here is what I changed it to
/etc/systemd/logind.conf

#InhibitDelayMaxSec=5
HandlePowerKey=hybrid-sleep
#HandleSuspendKey=suspend
#HandleHibernateKey=hibernate
#HandleLidSwitch=suspend
#HandleLidSwitchExternalPower=suspend
#HandleLidSwitchDocked=ignore
#PowerKeyIgnoreInhibited=no
#SuspendKeyIgnoreInhibited=no
#HibernateKeyIgnoreInhibited=no
#LidSwitchIgnoreInhibited=yes
#HoldoffTimeoutSec=30s
IdleAction=suspend-then-hibernate
IdleActionSec=15min
#RuntimeDirectorySize=10%
#RemoveIPC=yes
#InhibitorsMax=8192
#SessionsMax=8192The interesting part is that after about 15 minutes +- a few seconds (my timing skills aren't great) the laptop goes into suspend mode.
I'm unable to use any pastebin clients whilst at work, so I'm not sure how else to post any log dumps as they all seem to be to large to paste here
In the meantime, I will be changing the IdleActionSec to something shorter and something longer to see if this actually is the cause or if it just is some sort of weird accident

What DE are you using?

tl;dr - this is probably only supported by gnome and kde.

I'm using no DE, just dwm,
Edit: After reading through both the posted links, I see that I can't use logind and that I should probably use xautolock. I'm curious if I should edit the wiki this section in particular to make a note that settings like IdleAction/IdleActionSec in /etc/systemd/logind.conf really only play nicely with gnome/kde?
