Setup my lvm config to use an ssd as cache, works fine, then updated to kernel 5 and then the system not booted any more, I thought that maybe the disk was bad, or even worse, to installed again with another disk.
- boot from usb, mount, chroot, create the cache, and when tried to install grub, "error disk not found*", decided to install just the base system without the cache.
- boot to my new system, configured the cache and bum, error at boot "disk not found*".
what can i do?, aside of not using the cache.
*: the error show is " disk lvmid/askdjskdkajdkjda/jashdjashdjashdjah not found", where the last part is my root volume, to me looks like lvm concat the cache+root_lvm.
edit:changed linux to kernel.
update 1: followd https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/improvin … e-dm-cache and still got the same error "disk lvmid/asdf/qwerty not found"
update 2: followed redhat howto https://access.redhat.com/documentation … e_creation and still got this message grub-install: error: disc «lvmid/2Cp1XN-B17l-IUQW-3jAH-aBrp-EmbB-yWmesc/CCvGg2-fdMn-60mk-SQKf-IqBE-OLrE-LufHRM» not found.

use this guide instead of wiki because wiki give me "ambiguous syntac" when creating the cache.
