[SOLVED] Can't boot into XFCE with custom Archiso.

Hi,

I'm trying to make a custom Archiso configured for privacy and security. I'm having some problems.

I can't boot into XFCE. When I'm logged in as a user account I get this https://imgur.com/a/LCybIWv .

Xorg logs: https://pastebin.com/BRK76z3e

When I'm logged in as root I get this https://imgur.com/a/FGdeG0R .

I'm running this on a KVM/QEMU virtual machine but I have managed to boot into XFCE on a normal install in a virtual machine before so I doubt that is the problem.

If anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated.

The archiso is here https://github.com/throwaway834/archiso .

EDIT: It turns out the permissions for /etc were messed up and I had to fix it by running

chmod 0755 /etc
