Hi,
I just had a problem with the upgrade to 2.6.17.8
For the first time, it seems to have ignored an entry in the blacklist of rc.conf (and annoying one, too): pcspkr gets loaded even though I have it blacklisted.
This is new to me.
MODULES=(p4_clockmod evdev !pcmcia_core !usbserial !serio_raw !ide-scsi !irtty_sir !shpchp !parport !gameport !pcspkr)
and
HOOKS="base udev ide filesystems"
I am not doing anthing different from before (I hope).
Bug?
Cheers,

It appears this was a udev bug on my part, which tpowa has fixed. I apologize.
