When I set up this desktop a year ago I know I messed some stuff up. Apparently, one of those things was ISO automounting. I don't need help setting it up the right way anymore - I just need help undoing my previous problem-riddled solution.
I'm using udiskie/udisks2, and three ISOs are mounted before the XFCE display manager is pulled up. According to the logs, this command is running through systemd. The command is not located in my xinitrc or in Session and Startup, which is where I'd like to be. Udiskie (the GUI for udisks2) opens through Session & Startup, but doesn't directly handle those ISOs. When I rename one of the ISOs, my system crashes at reboot, which is why I'd like to change it. I've been raiding my system trying to find the code that starts the ISOs so I can shut it down and do it right.
If systemd is running a mount script during boot, where is that script most likely to be located?
Will update shortly with logs.
[edit] Resolved, it was starting them through /etc/fstab as necessary mount points during boot.

When I rename one of the ISOs, my computer crashes on boot and goes into "emergency mode". It lets me log in as root to view the journal and fix the problem via command line. A relevant excerpt from
journalctl -xbfor that crash: https://pastebin.com/rJCDy2Hs

Please post the contents /etc/fstab
Edit:
Please also do not post journalctl output with -x https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/ … 13029.html

That's the one. They're being treated as necessary partitions. Thank you, I'll remove them from fstab and see if that fixes.

That fixed it, thank you loqs. Now I can implement a more functional mount system. And thank you for the link re: -x, I'll keep that in mind for future.
