Can't seem to connect to my bluetooth speaker

Through KDE's bluetooth settings, it says it fails, and through bluetoothctl this is what I get

 [bluetooth]# pair C0:28:8D:91:B6:56
Attempting to pair with C0:28:8D:91:B6:56
[CHG] Device C0:28:8D:91:B6:56 Connected: yes
Failed to pair: org.bluez.Error.AuthenticationFailed
[CHG] Device C0:28:8D:91:B6:56 Connected: no

I've tried looking online for help but couldn't find anything, anyone knows something about this? It's really weird, I think it worked in the past

Re: Can't seem to connect to my bluetooth speaker

Tried removing it and rebooting, still not working. I've not tried with another bluetooth device though, will try
Edit: it actually works with blueman though, no idea why. It doesn't work with bluetoothctl
