Hello, I changed username and home directory name. User icon was showing in SDDM with the previous name, but now I'm not getting it.
I know SDDM could not have permissions, but I did
setfacl -m u:sddm:x /home/oldusername
setfacl -m u:sddm:x /home/newusername/
setfacl -m u:sddm:x /home/newusername/.face
setfacl -m u:sddm:x /home/newusername/.face.icon
"/home/oldusername" and "/home/newusername/.face.icon" are symlink.
But the icon won't show into SDDM. Any tips? Should I change login manager?

Does your UID and the MinimumUID in /etc/sddm.conf tallies?

Yes, it does. Changing username does not change UID.

SDDM does not read from home user directories, even if it has access permission. Default location is "/usr/share/sddm/faces/".
