Flickering screen on random occasions

I have had this problem for a long time and ignored it after I couldn't find the solution to it but now there has been more flickering occurring than usual and i don't know how to solve this problem without receiving any help from the community. I've tried to reinstall the system and also try out the proprietary drivers, but that made it worse so I had to revert back to the ATI drivers and that made the flickering go away before installing the DE. After installing the DE the flickering returned and it hasn't disappeared since and that only indicates that I have something running that is causing it, but I don't know what.

Information about my system:

Laptop: Asus K55N
OS: Arch Linux
Kernel: 4.19.8-arch1-1-ARCH
DE: KDE Plasma
WM: KWin
CPU: AMD A6-4400M APU (2) @ 2.700GHz
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon HD 7520G
Memory: 2121MiB / 5413MiB

dmesg output: http://termbin.com/jxut6
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log: http://termbin.com/di9r

glxinfo output:

[arch@archlinux ~]$ glxinfo | grep direct
direct rendering: Yes
    GL_AMD_draw_buffers_blend, GL_AMD_multi_draw_indirect,
    GL_ARB_depth_clamp, GL_ARB_derivative_control, GL_ARB_direct_state_access,
    GL_ARB_draw_elements_base_vertex, GL_ARB_draw_indirect,
    GL_ARB_map_buffer_range, GL_ARB_multi_bind, GL_ARB_multi_draw_indirect,
    GL_AMD_draw_buffers_blend, GL_AMD_multi_draw_indirect,
    GL_ARB_direct_state_access, GL_ARB_draw_buffers,
    GL_ARB_draw_indirect, GL_ARB_draw_instanced, GL_ARB_enhanced_layouts,
    GL_ARB_multi_draw_indirect, GL_ARB_multisample, GL_ARB_multitexture,

If you need more information please send me a message and I'll try to give the necessary information required to solve this issue.

Re: Flickering screen on random occasions

If you mean 'flickering' related to the backlight, maybe you check this link:

Failure is success in progress.

Re: Flickering screen on random occasions

Sorry for answering a couple months later, did not receive a notification regarding this post I made a long time ago. I still have the problem in the new Linux 5.0.5 with everything updated to recent updates.

What I mean by flickering is the screen going black and then back to normal at random time intervals. When watching YT videos (which is impossible at this current state of the laptop) at 1080p the screen becomes pixelated (like an old TV box, image: https://imgur.com/xkxkK3e)

As a reminder, this does not occur when using Win10 and only does so when using Linux.
