I have a really weird problem, and I was wondering if any of you Arch wizards could help me.
The problem is that the Wi-Fi LED indicator on my laptop has stopped working. It stays on even if Wi-Fi is disabled. It doesn't matter how you turn it off: Running "nmcli radio wifi off" disables Wi-Fi, but the LED is still on. The same happens if you disable Wi-Fi via the XFCE graphical interface. The only way in which the LED can be turned off is by using the wireless hardware switch of the laptop.
This worked before, but somehow it stopped working. It has stopped working with both the lts kernel and the default kernel.
The driver I'm using is iwlwifi.
I don't know what could be causing this, and I was wondering if you did.
Thank you!

I can confirm, however, that running "sudo rfkill block all" *does*, in fact, turn off the LED.

This is weird. If I run "sudo rfkill block wifi", the LED keeps on.
If I run "sudo rfkill block all", the LED turns off. And, after that, "sudo rfkill unblock wifi" turns it on again. After it has been turned on, "sudo rfkill block wifi" fails again, like the first time.
It behaves rather strangely.

What's the output of "rfkill" before and after the various (in)successful commands?
