Hello,
This happened a while ago but I only now have the time to address it. So i installed pcsx2 1.4.0-8 to test it out. I had previously been using the card with no issues (was working with both nouveau and the proprietary drivers and bumblebee/primusrun). However, when I was running the emulator with a game image I experienced a complete stall, accompanied by a loud "hardware buzz" sound. Everything was completely unresponsive and I was forced to do a hard shutdown by holding the power button. Upon restarting however, the card was detected but unusable. Is it possible that the emulator could have caused this, or is it likely just coincidence, ie the card would have failed no matter what I was doing. Also, I am not sure how to diagnose this issue, and am not even sure if it is software or hardware related.

clean reinstall of arch
booted into windows 10, the device manager detected the graphics card but gave a vague error and attempting to install nvidia proprietary drivers failed (installer could not detect a valid card)
use nouveau drivers
used the following boot parameters
pcie_aspm=off rcutree.rcu_idle_gp_delay=1Here is the nvidia-bug-report, not sure what could be relevant so its the entire thing.
note: current arch setup is completely fresh and up to date, both nouveau and proprietary drivers are installed, proprietary ones are in use.
Any help is appreciated ![]()
