I was trying to upgrade my system with 'pacman -Syu', which includes a new version of cuda (cuda-10.1.105-6).
I got an error due to a file conflict.
It says:
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
cuda: /opt/cuda/lib64 exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
However
$ pacman -Qo /opt/cuda/lib64
/opt/cuda/lib64/ is owned by cuda 10.0.130-2
I don't really understand what is happening here. Is cuda conflicting with itself? Before deleting the folder manually - can anybody tell me how I can track down the error? Is it a bug?
The last time I did a system upgrade was on 2019-03-26

Is anything in /opt/cuda/lib64/ not owned by cuda?

Oh, yes indeed.. there was one backup file that I probably created some time ago and forgot to delete. Oops.
Thanks a lot for your help!
