I have a weird battery issue on my new Eurocom Q6. I can start the system on AC power and the machine works fine. On battery, I get to the log on manager and enter my password, the "loading" plasma desktop screen comes up and my computer shuts down completely before I see the desktop. This happens no matter what the battery state is. If I log into KDE, I can remove the power cord and continue to work without issues.
I've looked at the boot journal and couldn't see any difference between an AC boot and a battery boot. Any thoughts?
